Rite of exile

Every year during the harvest season, Seai performs its own rite.
She is the last keeper of disappearing spirits who no longer have a place in the new,
a world devoid of magic. The spirits awakened by Seai leave their habitats and
follow her to the swamps, so as not to perish from the merciless scythes of the new
generations. They live with her until new crops appear, in which
they could settle down and guard them, waiting for the hour when Seai would come for them again.
